Welcome to the Dallas Christian Writers Guild Web site. We exist to provide:

†   Education on writing and marketing skills

†   A place where Christian writers can find encouragement and support

†   Effective critique to help writers improve their work

Dallas Christian Writer's Guild was established as Southwestern Christian Writer's Guild in 1986 to give Christian writers a place to fellowship, opportunities to learn the skills and business of writing, and a venue for getting work critiqued for publication.

Whether you want to write fiction or nonfiction, you'll find someone whose passion for the written word matches your own.

If you're a beginner, you'll learn the ropes of a freelance career. You'll learn how to approach editors and publishers. You'll benefit from the expertise and advice of professional writers who started out just like you: with a love for writing and a commitment to be a writer.

The advanced writer will find others who have been published and will enjoy networking with fellow Christian writers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We offer opportunity to meet editors, agents, publicists, and other professionals who will help you advance in your career.

You'll get input on your novel, poetry, articles, personal essays, nonfiction book, or whatever you've chosen to write.
